Fabio Scozzoli's speciality is 50m and 100m breaststroke. He started competitive swimming at a very young age. In 2009, he made his debut during an international competition at the University of Belgrade at age 21. There he won two silver medals. At the World Championships in Berlin, Fabio broke the Italian records for the 50m and 100m breaststroke. He won seven Italian titles in breaststroke, mixed (his first in this category) and relay during 2010. In August of that year, he also took the gold medal at the European Championships in Budapest. In 2011, he won two silvers in the 50m and 100m breaststroke at the World Championships in Shanghai. In 2012, he won two world titles at the World Championships in Debrecen, Hungary. These included a gold and silver medal in the 100m and 50m breaststroke, respectively. Fabio is the current Italian and European record holder for the 50m breaststroke. His success is surpassed only by his unique degree of commitment and passion.
