Accessibility Statement

This document contains information regarding the ways in which people with visual, hearing, cognitive, and motor disabilities, as well as those with particular needs, can access the digital offerings of our products on the website jaked.com.

Website Owner

The owner of the e-commerce website is Miriade S.p.A., with registered office at Piazza dei Martiri, 30 – 80121 Naples (NA), Italy (VAT Number: 07631370637).

Applicable Requirements

The accessibility requirements for products and services are described in Legislative Decree No. 82/2022, which implemented EU Directive No. 2019/882.

Services are considered accessible if they can be provided and information can be enjoyed without discrimination, even by those who, due to disabilities, require assistive technologies or specific configurations.

We are committed to making the website accessible and inclusive, ensuring that our web platform is accessible to everyone. To this end, we comply with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1, achieving Level AA compliance, so that our services can be used by all.

Specifically, these guidelines are based on four fundamental principles:

  • Perceivability

    We are committed to ensuring that all informational images include alternative text (alt text), so they can be read aloud by screen readers. In designing our user interfaces, we pay attention to adequate color contrasts to improve readability. Information and controls are presented in a way that allows them to be perceived by users.

  • Operability

    Our interactive elements, such as forms and navigation menus, are almost entirely usable via keyboard.

  • Understandability

    We use clear language to describe our products and on our service pages. Our navigation structure is clear and intuitive.

  • Robustness

    The website is mainly developed with standardized, accessibility-optimized, and tested components. During the development process, we apply testing criteria derived from the WCAG guidelines to ensure compatibility with various browsers and assistive technologies. We regularly test the site to ensure all functions remain operational and understandable.

Conformance Status

This accessibility statement is updated as of June 28, 2025.
The website has undergone a preliminary technical analysis using automated tools and internal manual tests and is currently partially compliant with the accessibility requirements set forth by WCAG 2.1 Level AA.

The website owner has initiated a structured process of accessibility review and remediation, with the support of specialized partners. The update work has already been planned and assigned to Iquii S.R.L., under the operational coordination of our internal digital department.

The intervention plan includes a full site audit, a review of templates, correction of main accessibility barriers, and systematic adoption of WCAG 2.1 AA criteria. The accessibility statement will be updated at the end of the first phase of the plan, scheduled for September 2026.

As required by law, the website owner has implemented, together with the aforementioned technical and legal partners, a continuous accessibility monitoring system, which includes periodic external audits and technical checks at every significant release.
This process demonstrates the company’s commitment to ensuring the progressive adaptation of its digital offering, in compliance with the principles of inclusiveness and non-discrimination.

Evaluation Tools and Accessibility Percentage

At this initial stage, analyses have been carried out using code-scanning tools and navigation simulations. However, the results are still being consolidated and are subject to subsequent cross-validation.

For this reason, a numerical accessibility percentage is not currently available, pending the completion of the first audit phase and the remediation plan.
Nevertheless, the main areas for improvement have already been identified and prioritized based on their impact on user experience.

An updated estimate of the compliance percentage will be published together with the first update of this statement, at the end of the first complete technical review.

Description of How the Service Meets the Relevant Accessibility Requirements

The service aims to significantly meet the accessibility requirements set forth in Legislative Decree 82/2022, particularly with regard to:

  • keyboard navigability of most essential features (search, product selection, cart, account).
  • presence of descriptive alternative text for many product images and functional icons;
  • use of consistent semantic structures in the HTML code and adoption of standard components compatible with assistive technologies;
  • a hierarchical and linear content structure, designed for simplified screen reader interpretation;
  • progressive uniformity of color contrast and font size to enhance readability;
  • partial adoption of WCAG 2.1 Level AA principles, focusing on perceivability, operability, and understandability.

Some requirements are still under implementation, particularly those related to:

  • replicability of the user experience on mobile devices;
  • technical validation of interactive forms, especially in authentication and payment processes;
  • full screen reader accessibility of promotional sections and advanced search filters.

To address these needs, a technical remediation process has been launched, carried out by a multidisciplinary team composed of frontend developers, external accessibility specialists, and digital content reviewers.
The work includes aligning the code with the specifications of harmonized standard EN 301 549 and WCAG 2.1 Level AA, in accordance with Article 12 of the decree.

The website will be progressively updated, with the support of external audits, to ensure full compliance with applicable requirements and continuous improvement of the access experience for all people, with or without disabilities.

Exemptions for Disproportionate Burden

To date, no exemptions for disproportionate burden have been invoked or identified under Article 13 of Legislative Decree 82/2022.

Therefore, the website will undergo a complete remediation process aimed at ensuring full compliance with the accessibility requirements established by current regulations, without resorting to exceptions.

The remediation plan thus includes the extension of interventions to all functional areas of the website.
Any residual limitations, should they arise during the process, will be transparently documented and evaluated on a case-by-case technical basis.
